Boone County Pachyderm Club Meeting

Please join the Boone County Pachyderm Club for our April 16 meeting as we will focus our discussion of the importance of Career and Technical Education.  Our guest speaker will be Allan Sharrock, an Engineering Technology teacher for the past 14 years at the high school and community college level. Allan will speak on the lack of Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers currently at the high school level, and how this will impact Missouri's economic future and workforce development. Allan will also explore several solutions that could be implemented rather quickly through legislative or policy changes to help close the skills gap. 


Guests welcome to attend and join the Pachyderm Club at the meeting.

If Columbia Public Schools is closed due to weather, our meeting will be canceled.
