Jennifer Hohman
Anti-Trafficking Advocate

"Combatting Human Trafficking in Houston"

As a passionate anti-trafficking advocate, she is the founder of four organizations: Fight for Us, Houston Area Against Trafficking (HAAT), The Houston 20, and the former Oil and Gas Trafficking Awareness Group/ OGTAG, each playing a pivotal role in combatting human trafficking in Houston. Sadly, Houston ranks #1 for sex trafficking among the cities in the United States, and each year a staggering 313,000+ victims are sex trafficked in Texas. Adults and children are exploited for sex and labor repeatedly.

In addition to her work with combatting human trafficking, Mrs. Hohman oversees Baker Construction’s information and technology team. In this role, she channels nearly 30 years of experience in global business operations, program management, and technology solutions toward executing Baker’s strategic technology roadmap to create a competitive advantage for both Baker and its clients.

Jennifer was also the recipient of the March 2024 FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award - an acknowledgement of her work and unwavering dedication to the crucial mission of combatting human trafficking.
